          PEOPLE AND THINGS

PEOPLE This area has been blessed with creative people - writers,
artists, educators, sports figures, and entrepreneurs. This page has just been started so if you have anyone to add, please e-mail us with the information. The people at the Presque Library have tried to find a data base which lists authors by birthplace and have  had no luck. We haven't either. If you know of such a list please let us know.

during the cold winter nights. Did you forget how to play Euchre, Spitzer,
Hearts, Pinochle or - how about Duren Piatkowy?

Reading and come across a word that you don't know how to pronounce?
Type it in here and turn on your speakers.
