Plath's is famous for their "Kasseler Rippchen" or Smoked Loin, which is shipped around the country.
(Plath's shipped about 44,000 pounds of smoked meats shipped during the Christmas season - most of this being Smoked Loin!)
They offer many varieties of smoked meats and annually prepare several hundreds of thousand of pounds.
You'll find Plath's bacon served at many of the local restaurants and it's exceptional! Get some before you leave.
